The UK Guardian has an interesting analysis of Yahoo's recent enhancements and how in many respects they better Google. At the same time Banc of Amercia Securities continues to rank Yahoo as a buy.
While being competitive to Google, Yahoo announced that it has renewed its relationship to use Google's results as part of its search listings. In fact Yahoo! has embraced Google's results even more tightly. Recently unveiled to the general public is a new Yahoo search results page, there is no longer separation between Yahoo's own human-powered listings and Google's crawler-based results. Instead, the two are blended together.
