Chris Sherman, on SearchEngineWatch has detailed coverage of the new Google My Search History feature launched in Google labs.
My Search History doesn't save web pages; rather, it saves your search behavior, and makes it easy to rediscover both your past queries and the search result pages you've viewed.
Welcome to My Search History!
My Search History enables you to easily access and manage your Google search history from any computer. Your history is now accessible to you through the "My Search History" links that are located in the upper right corner of your Google.com homepage and web results pages. You can easily pause this feature by clicking on the "Pause" link above, or you can delete this service through the "My Account" link.
"It's really a bad idea," said Dixon, executive director of the World Privacy Forum. "If you need to keep track of your past searches, I recommend using a notebook. It would be a lot more private and a lot less risky."
